Facebook Update
Cliff Harrison @ Facebook
I’ve rejoined Facebook at least temporarily. Most of the post will be my photographs, family photographs, stories and/or videos about subjects I find interesting or close to my heart, even old and odd ones, and shares of friends, relatives or other users of things I may like or be fond of. I’ll also add links directing toward how-to sites, tips and informative ideas and anything I may have stumbled on while researching or investigating a particular subject or have experience in. Posts will also include links and discussions about writing and writers. Much of the material I use in my writing research or one of the main areas of interest I cover; reading, writing, researching & photography. These are the things I will focus on as I am still not too keen with Facebook and the divisions of the people social networking has cause. Many of my true friends are so fed up with the abuses on social networks that they have deleted their sites or only monitor while refusing to post anything. Looking at it logically however, there is a use and abuse of just about everything. I will not engage in most political discussions for the obvious reasons or too deeply in subjects that cause division rather than harmony among people. However I am friends with many people, both liberal and Conservative, whose primary posts are political and I do visit their sites, I just don’t share them unless it is generic and suitable for most viewers. Please spend a little time in the “Notes” section when you have time for a deeper insight of my personal history, general background and the private use of photographs I post or link to. My Facebook page will help you become a little more familiar with me than my scaled-down blogs. Send a friend request to me and I will reciprocate by acknowledging and confirming. I sometimes keep my Facebook account open while I’m working at the computer researching and add content as I go along. I may be reopening my Twitter site as well, but not just yet. Thanks for joining me. I hope we can have fun and enjoy ourselves.

[Note: This page needs to be updated. When I was a boy my parents gave my siblings and I sound advice; “Leave your politics and religion at home and have fun with your friends.” I wish I stuck to that advice. It seems when we are on a computer and using the Internet we ARE at home, but in reality we are in the living room of the world. I find it so difficult to refrain from engaging in politics and religion believing in the old adage “The greatest sin is remaining silent,” which was probably taken from one of the Orthodox Christian’s Prayer Books; that which is also the 8th of the NINE WAYS OF PARTICIPATING IN ANOTHER’S SIN which is “By silence.” Unfortunately we have become a world of political, social, economic and religious adversaries in such heated conflict that we can do no good for the citizens of our global community.]

My Books & Publishing Company

Most novels and works of fiction will generally be under the abbreviated name, Cliff Harrison, while most nonfiction works are usually penned under the full legal name, Clifford G. Harrison. It just gives readers an easy guide to my writing. This is not usually true of my blogs and social pages which are almost always under Cliff Harrison. There may be some variation of this, especially if a blog idea spins off as a book. Cliff Harrison’s World of Quotes is under the abbreviated name, book projects likewise. Soon my books will begin being released under the Sunrise Mountain Publishing imprint. My BOOKS will be available at the following websites:

COMING SOON: ~The Gerry Spence Story~

~The Gerry Spence Story will soon be open to the public for viewing. The currently private story can be found in the "Pages" section found at the top left of the gray section of this blog when it is opened to the public. It will have a little bit of writing and commentary by me about one of my greatest mentors and most respected attorney in America.

Spence is America's greatest trial lawyers, bar none. There will be many video, similar to the story-videos in the other pages found in the listing that present an insider's look at the charismatic couple of Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Spence.

The accompanying website links and videos contribute to a broader story of one of my most respected professionals. Gerry's charming wife, Imaging, is a magnificent designer and when you see the home she designed you'll understand why she has so much charm and imagination. ~

I'm currently focused on my book projects and will not be revisiting my websites, blogs, social pages or photo galleries for sometime (EXCEPT FOR RARE OCCASIONS) while I am completing these book manuscripts. Thank you ever so much for your support. I hope to reconnect with all of you soon. You are all such a wonderful group and such a joy to share with. THANK YOU!
